Eligibility: Those who have completed all elementary and secondary education courses abroad (12 years course)

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree holders who have completed elementary and secondary education abroad
Duration: 2 or more

Description: Doctorate
Eligibility: Master’s degree holders who have completed elementary and secondary education abroad

Description: Language Training
Eligibility: Those who have an academic background equivalent to high school graduation or higher
Duration: 1-2

Description: Exchange student
Eligibility: Those who are currently attending a sister university
Duration: 1 semester ~ 1 year

Description: Short-term self-study
Eligibility: Studying at a Korean university by using the study abroad program of the affiliated university, or as a student on leave of absence or a graduate of the affiliated university in a foreign country
Duration: 1 semester ~ 1 year

There are slight differences between universities application Documents

  • Application form
  • Self-introduction and study plan
  • Letter of recommendation
  • Last school transcript and graduation (planned) certificate
  • Copy of passport or documents proving nationality
  • Certificate of Korean or English proficiency
  • Documents proving financial ability
  • Financial guarantor’s certificate of the bank balance of US$10,000 or more (continuous deposit for 1 month or more) or domestic remittance or currency exchange certificate of US$10,000 or more
  • Financial guarantor’s certificate of employment or business registration
  • Property tax assignment certificate
  • Pledge to pay for studying abroad expenses
  • The required documents are different for each university, so please refer to the student recruitment guidelines for each university.

When to apply

The spring semester (March admission) is usually from September to November, and the fall semester (September admission) is usually from May to June.
There are differences between schools, so you should check the application deadline.

The selection method

It is mainly document screening, and some universities conduct interviews and tests.
